Advantage Spot On Flea Treatment is an effective solution that can be used for both the treatment and prevention of flea infestations. Fleas are killed through contact and do not need to bite your pet to be killed. Advantage also kills flea larvae in the home, wherever the treated pet goes.

Description

Fleas cause itching and irritation, carry diseases, and if your pet swallows one while grooming, they could get tapeworm. Only 5% of fleas live on your pet, while 95% lurk in carpets and bedding. If you discover fleas on your pet, you may need to treat your home too.

Advantage flea treatment for dogs, cats, and rabbits starts working quickly, killing fleas within 24 hours. It continues to protect cats and dogs for up to 4 weeks and rabbits for up to one week. Once applied, Advantage spreads across your pet's skin and coat without being absorbed into the body or bloodstream, meaning fleas do not have to bite to be killed. It also treats biting lice on dogs.

How to Use

Advantage is a spot-on formulation applied directly to the skin:

• For cats and rabbits: Apply at the base of the skull.
• For dogs up to 25kg: Apply between the shoulder blades.
• For dogs 25kg and over: Apply in 3 to 4 spots along the back from the shoulders to the base of the tail.

Instructions

1. Use the Advantage product suitable for your pet's weight.
2. Hold the tube upright, twist and pull the cap to remove it. Use the reversed cap to twist and remove the seal from the tube.
3. Part the fur and apply the treatment directly to the skin in the specified location.

Administration Guide

• For small cats, small dogs, and rabbits under 4kg: 1 pipette of 40mg.
• For large cats and rabbits over 4kg: 1 pipette of 80mg.
• For dogs 4kg to less than 10kg: 1 pipette of 100mg.
• For dogs 10kg to less than 25kg: 1 pipette of 250mg.
• For dogs 25kg to less than 40kg: 1 pipette of 400mg.
• For dogs 40kg and greater: 2 pipettes of 400mg.
